The 2021 Brazilian Serie A (or the Brasileirao Assai 2021) is the 65th Brazilian Serie A season which is the premier division men's football league in Brazil. The competition began on 29 May 2021 and scheduled to end on 5 December 2021. Tournament Format- The qualified twenty(20) teams will play each-other in a double round-robin league format. Each team face all 19 other teams at their own home ground and also at their opponent's home ground. Since 2003, the tournament is played in a double round-robin league format and it is the 18th edition of the league with double round-robin league format. The competition began on 29 May 2021 and scheduled to end on 5 December 2021. Defending Champion- Flamengo as the winner of 2020 Brazilian Serie A and became the defending champion of the tournament. Qualification and Relegation- The top six team as well as the 2021 Copa do Brazil champions will qualify for 2022 Copa Libertadores. Top four teams will make direct entry to Copa Libertadores group stage and the other two will qualify for the Copa Libertadores second stage. The next six team will qualify for 2022 Copa Sudamericana. The last four team will be relegated to 2022 Brazilian Serie B

The 2021 CAF Super Cup (or the 2021 Total CAF Super Cup) was the 29th CAF Super Cup match, it is a single football match organized by Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Africa, played between the previous season's winners of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, the two most elite men's club tournaments organized by CAF. Qualified Teams- In 2021, the match was played between Al Ahly from Egypt, the winner of 2019-20 CAF Champions League, and RS Berkane from Morocco, the winner of 2019-20 CAF Confederation Cup.
