The 2021 Brazilian Serie A (or the Brasileirao Assai 2021) is the 65th Brazilian Serie A season which is the premier division men's football league in Brazil. Since 2003, the tournament is played in a double round-robin league format and it is the 18th edition of the league with double round-robin league format. The competition began on 29 May 2021 and scheduled to end on 5 December 2021.



Defending Champion-

Flamengo as the winner of 2020 Brazilian Serie A and became the defending champion of the tournament.

Qualification and Relegation-

The top six team as well as the 2021 Copa do Brazil champions will qualify for 2022 Copa Libertadores. Top four teams will make direct entry to Copa Libertadores group stage and the other two will qualify for the Copa Libertadores second stage. The next six team will qualify for 2022 Copa Sudamericana. The last four team will be relegated to 2022 Brazilian Serie B

The qualifying round of the tournament will be played from 22 June 2021 to 25 August 2021.
