2020 Tokyo Olympic | Men's Football

The Men's Football Tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympic will be the 27th edition of the Men's Olympic Football Tournament which is held in every four year at Olympic. Teams participating in the men's competition are restricted to under-24 players (born on or after 1 January 1997) with a maximum of three overage players allowed. The men's tournament is typically restricted to under-23 players though following the postponement of the Olympics by a year, FIFA decided to maintain the restriction of players born on or after 1 January 1997.

This tournament is originally scheduled from 23 July 2020 to 8 August 2020 at 6 Host cities of Japan. The tournament was postponed due to Coronavirus Pandemic and rescheduled from 22 July 2021 to 7 August 2021.





Defending Champions-

Brazil are the defending champions, having won the Gold Medal in Men's Football at 2016 Rio Olympic Games competition. FIFA approved the use of the video assistant referee (VAR) system at the Olympics.

Tournament Format-

The tournament will play by Round-Robin League format and Knockout Phase. Qualified 16 teams are divided on 4 groups and 4 teams are in each group. In every group, teams are played by round-robin league format and top two teams of all groups will qualified for the Knockout Phase.

The 2021-22 UEFA Europa League (UEL) is the 13th season of UEFA Europa League and 51th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament which is held in every year and organized by Union of European Football Association (UEFA).
